There are specific international standards for EMC measurements for industrial equipment. These include standards such as the CISPR 11 and the European EN 61000-6-4 for emissions and EN 61000-6-2 for immunity. Most industrial equipment, machinery and installations must be tested according to these EMC standards and regulations. In order to perform these measurements and tests according to these standards, the right instruments are needed. The instruments must fully compliant with the (basic) standards that describe the requirements for the measurement setup.
