Warranty period

The standard warranty period is one (1) year. After registering your newly purchased Raditeq product, the warranty period will be extended free of charge to a total of three (3) years.

Registering Raditeq Products

Registration your Raditeq product(s) can be done at:

To register the product, the customer must provide the model number, serial number and responsible reseller. If the product is not registered, a one (1) year limited warranty period applies.

By registering your product(s) you give us permission to keep you informed about safety issues, upgrades and new features regarding our products. We also keep you informed of new products and developments at Raditeq.

You can cancel this registration at any time, but in that case the benefits of the registration will also expire. In that case your personal data will be deleted from our database.

Return Material Authorization (RMA) process

In the unfortunate case you encounter a defect to one of our products, an RMA request can be issued through the Raditeq website:

After receiving the RMA request, Raditeq will provide an RMA number under which the product can be sent for repair.

Please note:
Products sent to Raditeq for repair without an RMA number will not be processed until an RMA form has been submitted. This may cause a significantly longer turnaround time.

The product must be well packaged, preferably in the original packaging and sent to the address below.

Raditeq is not responsible for shipping and transport. If the product arrives damaged due to improper packaging and/or transportation, the warranty or “fixed price repair” offer is no longer valid.

Shipping costs

The customer needs to arrange shipment of the equipment to the service department of Raditeq.

All costs associated with shipping the equipment to Raditeq as well as the return shipping after repair, are borne by the customer. These costs include, but are not limited to, transportation costs, import duties, taxes, etc.

For warranty repairs, Raditeq will arrange the return shipment and cover the costs of this return shipment.

Warranty claims

If a defect arises within the warranty period, a RMA ‘Warranty Repair’ request can be submitted. On receipt of the equipment we will evaluate wither the warranty claim is valid. If not, we will contact you for further instructions.

Within the (extended) warranty period, the repair will be carried out free of charge (materials or labour).

The warranty terms do not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Defective fibre optic cables and/or connectors
  • Products that have been improperly used
  • Products that have been used outside their specifications
  • Products that have been improperly installed and/or maintained
  • Products that have been opened or modified without approval of Raditeq

In the event that the guarantee claim is (partially) unjustified, a separate quotation will be sent for the additional costs. In this case, the repair will continue after receipt of the order confirmation. If the customer does not except the quotation, a investigation fee of 150 euro will be charged.

Warranty on Calibration

Warranty on the calibration of the product only applies within the (extended) warranty period, the last calibration certificate is less than one (1) year old and this calibration was carried out by- or ordered via Raditeq.

Calibrations which have been ordered by the customer directly at an external calibration lab will not be covered under the warranty terms of Raditeq.

When a calibration is ordered via Raditeq, we will always first perform a “test and check” before starting the calibration at Raditeq or an external calibration laboratory. This eliminates the risk a defect is only detected during calibration, which would incur additional calibration costs.

Re-calibration after repair will only be carried out in case the repair can have influence on the calibration of the product, or if the customer explicitly ordered a calibration after repair.

Repairs outside warranty

If a defect is not covered under warranty, an RMA “fixed-repair” can be ordered on the RMA website:

All non warranty repairs are carried out based on “fixed repair prices” which can be found on the RMA Website. Als prices are in euros and do not include VAT.

Fixed repair prices are applicable for a single defect. Products having multiple defects, or defects caused by improper usage, are not covered under this fixed repair price.

If a re-calibration is needed after repair, this calibration should be ordered separately. The calibration will be performed at a ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratory.

Warranty on repair

For repairs outside the original warranty period, a limited warranty of three months is applicable on the performed repair. Shipping conditions are the same as with repairs that are covered within the original warranty period.

Repair time

We aim to carry out repairs within three (3) weeks of receipt. Unjustified warranty claims or unclear complaint descriptions can lead to additional communication and longer lead times. When repair is ordered including calibration under accreditation, the turnaround time may be longer. This is because the calibration is performed at an external lab.

Registering Raditeq Products

By registering here you give us permission to keep you informed of safety issues, upgrades and new possibilities with regard to our products. In addition, we keep you regularly, but no more than four times a year, informed of new products and developments at Raditeq.

For this we store the company name, your name and e-mail address and password in our database. The data is not used for other purposes and is not shared with third parties.

You can cancel this registration at any time, but in that case the benefits of the registration will also expire. In that case your data will be deleted from our database.
